development and clinical supervision to ensure best practice.

Value for Clients and Referrers
I.A.C.P. accreditation is a respected standard in Ireland. It reassures clients—and
referring professionals—that I practice ethically, safely, and with both competence
and accountability.
Health Insurance Benefits
Therapy with an I.A.C.P. accredited counsellor or psychotherapist may be eligible for
partial reimbursement under several Irish health insurance schemes:
- VHI, Laya, and Irish Life Health typically provide cover for a number of sessions
annually when the therapist holds I.A.C.P. accreditation, though exact benefits depend
on individual plans.
- It’s recommended that clients check their specific plan & “Table of Benefits” or
contact their insurer directly to confirm coverage
